Kim Soo Hyun, who is currently preparing to promote his new film Covertly, Grandly/Secretly, Greatly, is featured in this month's issue of Marie Claire where he goes sightseeing in Paris. He also appears on the pages of SURE, smiling brightly.
So, I've decided to start this tiny little series called the Video of the Day. These posts are not going to be regular, meaning that I won't making them daily (no matter what the title says). The only thing that is going to be a constant is the rule that will post a random video (either a music video, a live performance, an interview, a clip, a fanmv or whatever) that I think deserves to be called the Video of the Day. And that's it.
The first post is going to be Alex's (from Clazziquai) "Saying Goodbye with a Smile". I love the song, which just makes me feel all warm inside, and I love the video, which is just so summery and pretty. Enjoy!
On the pages of W magazine, BoA confidently models Oakley's stylish sunglasses, Park Han Byul shows off her slender legs in slightly pin-up girlish designs, and Wonder Girls' Sohee accessorizes her patterned clothing with big bows.
Welcome back to my Melody of Lyrics series, which I haven't done for a month now. Whoops... Anywhoo, while everybody is crazy about PSY's new single "Gentleman", I've decided to make today's post about one of his less popular songs - "Father". The song, which is a non-album single, came out on the summer of 2012 (first performed at the ‘Summer Stand Wet Show‘) but was unfortunately overshadowed by "Gangnam Style"-s success. But for those who think of PSY only as the funny horse-dance guy, I'd say "Father" is a great way to see a more serious side of him.
Flower Boy Next Door stars Yoon Si Yoon, Kouki Mizuta and Kim Jeong San hang around on a sunny day in Vogue Girl. Meanwhile, Yoon Si Yoon also appears in Men's Health, where he took a trip to tropical Northern Mariana Islands.
Labelmates Park Shin Hye and Park Se Young are breathtakingly gorgeous brides for My Wedding and InStyle Weddings' pictorials. But nothing's better than the real deal and so I've included the classy and beautiful engagement photoshoot of soon-to-be married celebrity couple Han Jae Suk and Park Sol Mi.
In May's issue of Esquire, Jung Suk Won turns up the heat by giving us a good look at his hot bod, while BEAST's Doo Joon wears sporty attire and shades, and Kim Kang Woo relaxes by smoking cigars and playing pool in a photoshoot themed as "Men's Break". Additionally in the Aprils issue, Go Kyung Pyo is his quirky fun-loving self in colorful clothing, whereas Hyun Bin suits up and covers the April's Esquire.
Actresses Han Hyo Joo and Bae Doo Na and K-pop boy group Infinite are featured in the recent issues of High Cut. Han Hyo Joo covers the 98th issue and shows her rebellious side, while Infinite members bring a lot of cute on the pages of of High Cut's 99th issue. And in the 100th issue's photoshoot, Bae Doo Na is styled casually and minimalistically.
YG Entertainment stars, known for their eyecapturing fashion, appear in three unique photoshoots.
Firstly, 2ne1's CL models almost theatrical costumes for W magazine. G-Dragon, meanwhile, gets in touch with nature (and wears red lipstick?) for Allure. Additionally, G-Dragon and Taeyang appeared previously in Vogue, sporting some very crazy hairstyles. Though GD and TY look quite outrageous, the bold styling actually kinda works in this pictorial. (But in no way should that mean that you guys are allowed to look this way when Big Bang makes a comeback. You hear me?!)
G.I. Joe: Retaliation star Lee Byung Hun is featured in the latest issues of Cine21, K Wave and @star1. While he's serious and charming in the first two photoshoots, we can see a more playful side of him in @star1's pictorial.
While Miss A's Suzy has been crowned as the queen of CFs I think Han Hyo Joo well deserves the title queen of fashion spreads, judging by the fact that she always has new pictorials coming out every season. One of her latest photoshoots is with VIKI,where she models for their new breezy and feminine summer collection.
It's no wonder that Miss A's Suzy, who is currently starring in the drama Gu's Family Book, has recently been crowned as the new CF queen and now appearing in a bunch of fashion spreads in this season's fashion magazines. She's a rock chick in Cosmopolitan, angelic for Céci, a sweetheart in Elle, and chic in black for @star1.
There is a serious boy group galore in this season's fashion magazine pictorials.
For April's issue of Cosmopolitan, Teen Top wears colorful outfits that contrast with the simple white background. Meanwhile in1st Look, Infinite's members Woohyun, L and Hoya engage in a street football match with Asian Football Confederation’s U-19 championship winners Kim Seung Jun, Oh Young Jun, and Kang Sang Woo for Nike's new football collection. And lastly, High Cut brings us a series of different photoshoots of boy groups SHINee (with f(x)'s Victoria), Boyfriend and B.A.P.
K-pop group SISTAR members Soyu, Bora, Hyorin and Dasom have been busy appearing in a bunch of pictorials.
Firstly, all the members model for Plastic Island's 2013 fresh summer collection. Then Dasom takes on a solo photoshoot for NYLON, looking angelic and rebellious at the same time. Bora and Hyorin appear in two different pictorials for Céci, first of which is a sexy beach photoshoot, while in the other the girls have their own slumber party. And in the latest issue of Allure, the girls are classic beauties dressed in lace - Bora in white and Hyorin in black. Lastly, Soyu and Hyorin are chic and fancy for Vogue Girl, where we get to see one of the rare moments of Hyorin without bangs.
Drama Nine: Nine Times Time Travel stars Lee Jin Wook and Jo Yoon Hee cuddle together in the recent photoshoot for Marie Claire, looking ever so adorable. Lee Jin Wook also poses in a black & white pictorial for 1st Look and shows his irresistible masculine charm.
Son Ye Jin, who is currently preparing for her new drama Shark, took a trip to Koh Samui, Thailand for Chatelaine's new summer collection. She is gorgeous, the fashion is lovely, and the location is to die for.
Always beautiful Kim Tae Hee is both a fashionista in her newest drama Jang Ok Jung, Living by Love and also in the new summer capaign for Isabey de Paris. Dressed in vibrant colours, she models in a breezy photoshoot with a slightly Medditerranean feel.
