There are a lot of love songs. I think about 95% of songs are with a romantic theme in K-pop, or in music overall. Which is why I was pleasantly surprised when "Going Crazy" came out. The song isn't you usual break-up ballad, and it is definitely not what I normally expect from K-pop. Aside from the awesomeness of the husky and fierce rap, soft vocals and the creepy music video, "Going Crazy" also has pretty thought-provoking lyrics.
"Going Crazy" was released as a digital single on March 3, 2011. It featuresSong Ji Eun from the girl group Secret and Bang Yong Guk from B.A.P. Yong Guk also participated in the production of the song by writing the rap lyrics.
The Nice Guy main cast is keeping themselves busy with fashion pictorials. In the latest issue of Harper's BAZAARSong Joong Ki's eyes take the focal point and Park Si Yeon's curvacious body is looking better than ever. Moon Chae Won, however, poses for Vincis Bench 2012 Fall collection featured in High Cut.
Answer Me 1997 is my latest another addition to my all time favourite dramas list. It was a show that came out of nowhere for me because I didn't follow any of the news about it beforehand. But after checking it out, I was pleasantly surprised how nostalgic, sweet and poignant this show was. Though the drama is about high schoolers and is obviously very relatable to younger audiences, I see it being very appealing for adult viewers just as well. But above all, it's simply a show for people who can still remember what it was like to be young, insecure and going through the lengthy process of growing up and finding yourself.
Back in 1997, spunky Jung Shi Won (Jung Eun Ji of A Pink) was a devoted fan of the boyband H.O.T. At that tumultuous time in life, Shi Won and her gang of friends, including childhood buddy Yoon Yoon Jae (Seo In Guk), fellow H.O.T. fangirl Mo Yoo Jung (Shin So Yul), thoughtful Kang Joon Hee (Hoya of Infinite), charismatic Do Hak chan (Eun Ji Won), and the talkative Bang Sung Jae (Lee Si Yeon), learned their first valuable lessons in love and life.
In the present, the 30-year- old Shi Won meets up with her old gang at a class reunion, where they catch up and reminisce about the past times. By the end of the night, one couple in the reunion announces their marriage.
The October's issue of Marie Claire features feminine power as actresses Kim Sun Ah and Lee Min Jung and singer Lee Hyo Ri each take the pages over with sexy confidence and classy fashion. Kim Sun Ah prepares for the fall in coats and fur, Lee Min Jung takes a walk in the windy weather, and Lee Hyo Ri gets lazy in the morning in Calvin Klein's underwear.
Both actress-model Min Hyo Rin and singer BoA have been selected as the endorsers for popular watch brands. While Min Hyo Rin poses seductively with Aignerwatches in Vogue, BoA's a classic beauty for TAG Heuer in InStyle magazine.
To The Beautiful You star Lee Hyun Woo poses for the October's issue of Elle Girl in his new and improved haircut. But do check out his September's Céci spread and the recent photoshoot for Macho with his co-star Minho (SHINee), who's kindly showing his abs.
Reply 1997/Answer Me 1997 stars Jung Eun Ji (A Pink) and Seo In Guk are currently the cutest and most lovable pairing in dramaland. And being such a sucker for these two I have to post everything they're in these days. So here you have it, Jung Eun Ji for 1st Look and Seo In Guk for Allure and Elle Girl. But when do we get to see them cuddling together in a photoshoot, huh? (Source: sina.com) Jung Eun Ji:
So, I'm thinking that this is going to be a Friday thing. Well, at least the previous two Melody of Lyrics I also posted on Fridays (in my time zone), so why not make this day the official day for this series.
Anywhoo...for today I picked Deli Spice's "Chau Chau/Chow Chow", which I only recently discovered for myself. But it has already left an unforgettable impression on me. Despite the fact that "Chau Chau" has been played in several TV shows as of late (Running Man, Infinity Challenge, Answer Me 1997/Reply 1997), the song was actually the lead single of Deli Spice's first album (also titled "Deli Spice") released back in 1997. However, the song is still recognized as one of the most iconic songs in Korean rock music. The lyrics are written by the vocalist Kim Min Kyu.
As I am eagerly following the drama Reply 1997/Answer Me 1997 (which is airing it's finale in the upcoming week!) I couldn't help but post these two pictorials of our main leads in the series. While A Pink's Jung Eun Ji is cheerful and cheeky for the latest issue of Céci, Seo In Guk shared his thoughts on acting in 1st Look back in August.
Okay, since last time I talked about Epik High’s „One“, which was about hopelessness and depression, today I’m gonna take a much lighter note. Or perhaps a much naughtier note with Korean hip-hop duoLeessang’s „Turned Off The TV“, in collaboration with Yoon Mi Rae (also known as T or Tasha) and 10cm’s Kwon Jung Yeol. "Turned Off The TV" is from from Leessang's album "Asura Balbalta", released on 25th August in 2011. The song is a lovely combination of Gil's low-pitched and Kwon Jung Yeol's far-reaching vocals, and Gary/Gaerie's and Tasha's wonderful rap sequences.
Han Hyo Joo is trendy-chic for VIKI's 2012 Fall Campaign. The actress is wearing lovely fashion in colours of gold, orange, brown and red, which is naturally complimented by high heeled boots fit for the season.
W magazine scores two fabulous pictorials for September. Actress Kang Hye Jung, most recently in the drama Marriage Plot, is wearing quirky hats in an indigo-coloured photoshoot, while SNSD's Jessica poses in an always classy little black dress.
What happens when you combine gowns from the Victorian age with Korean traditional clothing and modern fashion trends? Apparently, this recent pictorial of actress Han Hyo Joo in September's issue of Vogue is the result.
