Have you ever fallen in love with a OST song of a drama you don't follow, but then realizing that you could not fully enjoy it without watching the drama series as well? Well, I have.
I've been hearing Lyn's "Back in time" non-stop on K-pop charts on Youtube and at one point I started listening it myself. This song quickly enchanted me. It is a really beautiful song that gets you right at the heart. It has a lovely melody that combines various musical instruments (piano, flute), and a very powerful chorus with superb vocals. I'm not the type to be very into dramatic ballads, but before I had read the lyrics I felt that the song had that epic-love-story attractiveness to it that I even I was drawn towards.
I have never really listened to 2AM. Back in the day I used to think that 2AM and 2PM were actually the same group (yeah, I have my moments of plain ignorance). But now 2AM seems to make news all over Allkpop and Soompi. Whether it's Jinwoon with his Dream High 2 appearances, or Jo Kwon dancing 2ne1's "I am the best" in TV-shows, or just the group releasing it's new albumF. Scott Fitzgerald's Way Of Love.
This is my mini song review for Nine Muses "Ticket", which was released on March 7, 2012.
I usually don't follow these less popular girl groups like Rainbow, Dal Shabet, Chocolat etc. Not necessarily because I don't find them to be good, but because I just don't hear their music on a regular basis. The same with Nine Muses. The only song I knew before "Ticket" was "Give me", and that was because it was included in Prosecutor Princess drama OST. And well..honestly, that song had some pretty awkward Engrish in it so I couldn't really listen to it.
One of the best-known K-pop boy bands, Big Bang, is back with their new album "Alive". This album has gained so much attention and anticipation from Big Bang fans, both international and Korean. So, today I'm here with my short(?) review of their comeback with "Alive".
Being such a sucker I am for Shut Up: Flower Boy Band I just had to post these recent fashion shoot photos of our lead pairing in the drama. Jo Boa and Sung Joon are dressed in fresh spring fashion for the Céci spread.
While it is somewhat strange to see Sung Joon in these preppy clothes (totally different from the look he's sporting in Shut Up), I love the sporty jackets and those classic jeans with colorful kicks. Of course, hipster glasses are a must. And Jo Boa looks soo adorable and mischievous here. Not to mention the cool setting with retro elements.
My favourite. Jo Boa looks so tiny and cute, and Sung Joon shows his trademark smirk.
